Parma School Board member and U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant Ashley McTaggart is preparing to deploy overseas to serve our country.

In response, Tammie Sebastian, Brittany Kurpik, and Leah Euerle hastily called a special meeting to begin the process of removing her from the position Parma voters elected her to hold—because she may miss meetings while serving in uniform.

Let that sink in.

At the very moment she is stepping up to defend our nation, they are moving to take her seat at home.

This crosses the line.

Ashley McTaggart is fulfilling her duty to this country. Punishing her for that service is unacceptable. It shows a complete failure of judgment and a total disregard for both our military and the voters of Parma.

There is no walking this back.

Tammie Sebastian, Brittany Kurpik, and Leah Euerle must resign.

Tell them—politely but firmly—that their actions are wrong, and they must resign.
